Sunday School Program

SEPTEMBER 27 TO DECEMBER 13, 2020

Under normal circumstances the Sunday school program is held in the Parish hall on Sundays. However, this year due to COVID-19 the program will be held virtually. Sunday School teaches catechism to children once a week. It is intended to assist parents, the primary faith teachers, in their children’s Faith journey. Whether your child is in a non-Catholic or Catholic School, your child’s journey in faith will be enriched by our program. The program will take place virtually Sunday mornings, between 9:00 am to 9:45 am using Google Meets. The Sunday school program will help your child draw closer to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. There is no registration fee however, registration is required. Click here for registration form.

Children’s Liturgy Program

SEPTEMBER 27 TO DECEMBER 13, 2020

Under normal circumstances the Children’s Liturgy program is held during the 11:00 am Mass. However, this year due to COVID-19 the program will be held virtually. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a program in which the Sunday scripture readings and Gospel are proclaimed and explained to children, at an age-appropriate level, from grades K through 6. It is intended to enrich your child’s Faith journey, as well as encourage children to form a loving and generous response to the Word of God. The program will take place virtually Sunday mornings, between 10:00 am and 10:15 am using Google Meets. Children from the Sunday school program are encouraged to join the Children’s Liturgy of the Word program as well. There is no registration fee however, registration is required.  Click here for registration form.

Bible Study Program

BOOK OF REVELATION: THE KINGDOM YET TO COME

In Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come, presenter Jeff Cavins pulls back the veil on the rich symbolism present in Revelation. Discover what the mysterious figures and images of Revelation mean and see how Revelation is more than an apocalyptic vision of the “end times.” Explore the Church’s teaching on the second coming of Christ and the Last Judgment. Understand how God, the Divine Bridegroom, and the Church, his spotless bride, enter into a heavenly, holy, and mystical marriage every time we celebrate Mass. Study began in September. Registration is required. Please contact the Parish office.

Baptismal Classes

Baptismal classes are offered the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. This year due to COVID-19 the program will be held virtually through the Parish zoom account.  For more information contact the Parish office.

Mothers Group

“We are Catholic girlfriends, planting the seeds and letting God do the rest!”

The Mother’s Group is comprised of Catholic women who gather to pray, provide service to the community, share parenting tips, learn about their Catholic faith, and grow spiritually.  We are a group of like-minded women gathering to find community and fellowship with other Catholic moms.  This once a month retreat helps moms re-charge spiritually.  This year due to COVID-19 the program will be held virtually through the Parish zoom account.  If interested in being a part of our Mother’s Group, email us at mothersgroup@smirh.com.
