Baptismal Classes

Baptismal classes are offered the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 p.m to 8:00 pm.  At this time, the classes will be held virtually through the Parish zoom account. For more information contact the Parish office.

First Holy Communion Catechism Classes

CLASSES BEGIN JANUARY 8, 2023

The classes are intended to assist parents, the primary faith teachers, in their children’s Faith journey and in preparing them to receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and Holy Communion.  The classes will take place Sunday mornings in the Parish hall from 9:30 am to 10:45 am followed with Mass at 11:00 am.  Parents of the children requiring the classes will receive an email from the Parish office.

Confirmation classes

CLASSES WILL BEGIN JANUARY 8, 2023

The classes are intended to assist parents, the primary faith teachers, in their children’s Faith journey and in preparing them for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  The classes will take place Sunday afternoons in the Parish hall right after the 4:30 pm Mass from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  Parents of the children requiring the classes will receive an email from the Parish office.

Feb 5,12,26

Mar 5,19,26

RCIC classes (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children)

CLASSES WILL BEGIN JANUARY 9, 2023

The RCIC program is intended for children who are not in the sacramental grades of grade 2 and 7 or who are receiving more than one sacrament at the same time.

The classes are intended to assist parents, the primary faith teachers, in their children’s Faith journey and in preparing them to receive the Sacraments on Easter Vigil.  The classes will take place Monday afternoons, between 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm in the Parish hall.  Parents of the children requiring the classes will receive an email from the Parish office.

RCIA classes (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)

PROGRAM BEGAN SEPTEMBER 2022

DO YOU WISH TO BECOME CATHOLIC OR KNOW SOMEONE ELSE WHO DOES? Adults interested in becoming Catholics or needing the Sacrament of Confirmation or seeking to deepen their faith are invited to call or email the Parish office for information about the RCIA (Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults).

Classes will be held in-person.

Registration required.

Marriage Preparation Program

Our Parish is offering marriage preparation course. Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm.

Fall session: October 11 – November 15, 2023

If you are planning to marry in the near future and would like to register, contact the Parish office.

Sunday Religious Education Program

PROGRAM WILL BEGIN OCTOBER 16, 2022

The Sunday Religious Education program provides catechism to assist parents in their children’s faith journey.  Whether your child is in a non-Catholic or Catholic School, your child’s journey in faith will be enriched by our program.  The Sunday Religious Education program will help your child draw closer to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The classes will take place in-person Sunday mornings from 10:15 am – 10:50 am followed with Mass at 11:00 am.

Registration required.

Dates: Program runs from October 16, 2022 to January 29, 2023. 

Children’s Liturgy Program

PROGRAM WILL BEGIN OCTOBER 2, 2022

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a program in which the Sunday scripture readings and Gospel are proclaimed and explained to children, at an age-appropriate level, from grades K through 6. It is intended to enrich your child’s Faith journey, as well as encourage children to form a loving and generous response to the Word of God.

Children gather for Children’s Liturgy in the Sacristy, during the 11:00 am Mass every Sunday.

No registration required.

Dates: Program runs from October 2, 2022 to May 28, 2023.

Mothers Group

“We are Catholic girlfriends, planting the seeds and letting God do the rest!” 

The Mother’s Group is comprised of Catholic women who gather to pray, provide service to the community, share parenting tips, learn about their Catholic faith, and grow spiritually.  We are a group of like-minded women gathering to find community and fellowship with other Catholic moms.  This once a month retreat helps moms re-charge spiritually. If interested in being a part of our Mother’s Group, email the Parish office at stmaryimmaculateri@archtoronto.org.

The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) Council

“The Catholic Women’s League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.”

 It is the united voice of all Catholic women across Canada who diligently work and promote the teachings of the Catholic Church, and who possess immense potential for great service to the community and the global world. The CWL contributes to the life and vitality of the Church, family and community.

The Rosary Apostolate

The Rosary Apostolate Ministry seeks to bring about a spiritual renewal in future generations through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Rosary Apostolate responds to the initiatives requested by the Pope and the Magisterium. The Apostolate through its volunteers, helps the children and youth to feel that they belong to a greater family of God, namely, the Roman Catholic Church.

The Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a Lay Apostolic Association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, served the church and their neighbor on a volunteer basis in about 170 countries. The approval and support of the popes, and a great many bishops, priests and religious, as well as the prayer and efforts of Legionaries. The Legion, by the Grace of God, has grown into a worldwide organization with several million members. We strive to be devout Catholics and true followers of Jesus Christ and obedient to our Mother Mary by serving others through the 7 Corporal works of Mercy.

We reach out to families by arranging Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and bringing the Pilgrim Virgin statue into homes. The group meets every Wednesday from 5-6:30 pm.  For more information, please contact Nadine at LegionOfMaryInfo@yahoo.com.
